We are here to provide you and your child with a learning adventure; we collect personal data only so as to give you the best possible educational experience.
Personal data is collected only after you have given us your permission and only ever to make our service better. If at any time you request that we delete your personal data, we will.
We never distribute personal information and when we work with partners we make sure they don’t distribute it either.
We fully comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We're parents too, so we understand that you want your children’s privacy protected as they play and learn—just like we do.
If you would like to view information collected through the Lipa Gateway account, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can request to close your Lipa Gateway account by contacting us at: email@example.com. The closing of an account must be requested by the email provided at the time of registration, in order to protect your privacy. If a parent decides to close their Lipa Gateway account, all stored data will be erased as soon as possible.
Following is a description of the personal information that Lipa Learning s.r.o may collect from you and how we use that information:
By creating a Lipa Gateway account (and in so doing, providing your email address) you consent to receive communications related to your account, the service, and our other products and services, including without limitation:
Your child’s name or username serves only to help parents and children distinguish between different child profiles in Lipa Learning apps. The username doesn’t have to be a real name; it can be a fictional nickname and should not include the child’s surname/family name. The username is used solely for the purpose of personalizing apps for your child and the learning progress reports for you.
This information is not required. Date of birth and gender serve only to determine personal recommendations of appropriate games or other educational activities for children.
The profile picture serves only to help parents and children distinguish their profiles in Lipa Learning apps. If parents don’t feel comfortable taking a real picture of their child, they can instead use an image from our library of drawn avatars.
No child’s profile pictures will be disclosed, shared or provided to third parties.
Because the Lipa Gateway account allows us to track your child’s learning progress for you, we collect data on each child’s usage of apps associated with individual accounts. This data provides you with information about educational progress in our games, as well as helping us evaluate the efficacy of our interactive curriculum and improve our services for children’s education.
We may reward children and parents with Lipa points for completed levels, games, and other activities in Lipa Learning applications.
We do not share, disclose or provide any of this information; individual scores are visible only in Lipa Learning apps under your Lipa Gateway account.
Our website and mobile applications comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. In the event that a user identifies themselves as a child under the age of 13 through a support request or through any feedback, we will not collect, store or use any personal information of such a user. Any previously collected information will be deleted in a secure manner.
If you believe that a child under the age of 13 has submitted any personal information to us, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may delete it.
Lipa Learning requires that a parent or legal guardian manage each Lipa Gateway account. The Lipa Gateway account is not intended to collect personally identifying information from any person under the age of 18 and is intended to be used by parents of preschool children in association with such children.
No child’s personal information will be disclosed, shared or provided to third parties and will not be used to advertise products to you or your child.
We use technologies like cookies (small files stored by your browser), web beacons, or unique device identifiers to anonymously identify your computer or device so we can deliver a better experience. Our systems also log information like your browser, operating system and IP address, but are not designed to associate personal information with your activities (such as pages you view or things you click on or search for).
Lipa Learning may use tools or third party analytical software to automatically collect and use certain data including, but not limited to: unique device identifier or other persistent or non-persistent device identifier (“Device ID”); device software platform and firmware; mobile phone carrier; game progress, time used playing, score and achievements; other non-personal data as reasonably required by us to enhance the service and other LL products for you.
When you play our games, we gather anonymous usage statistics such as session length or country. We also gather in-game events such as starting or finishing a level to evaluate your child’s educational progress.
If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you interest-based ads, you may opt-out by clicking here (or if located in the European Union click here).
